What is Kurt's diagnosis?
AML is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes abnormal myeloblasts (a type of white blood cell), red blood cells, or platelets.
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. This type of cancer usually gets worse quickly if it is not treated. It is the most common type of acute leukemia in adults. AML is also called acute myelogenous leukemia, acute myeloblastic leukemia, acute granulocytic leukemia, and acute nonlymphocytic leukemia.

Hey bro, Sorry about the Germany loss. We were watching it from home as well. Painful to think that a counry with such aweful food beat the creators of fried pork! Terrable! Van and I will bring the poker chips and cards for Wednesday if you are up to it! We can discuss later in the week. That's it for now! Back to work for me. Take care of each other.

Hi Kurt & E,
Very sad to hear the news about Germany. Are the nurses showing sympathy with pints?? :) We're hoping the tests they ran on your brother are a match. See you this weekend with German chocolate Sprinkles!!
Love,
Toni & Mike
Kurt:
I've been in close contact with your beautiful Mom on your condition and progress and want you to know that Im looking forward to having a German beer with you soon. You will get through this with your courage, and love and support from your family and friends.

Hey Kurt and Evey,
Just want to let you know I'm thinking about you every day and sending nothing but positive thoughts your way.
Hi guys-
It was great to see you guys on Saturday. We will continue to send positive vibes your way. Great news about the transplant list, we're hoping your bro is a match. Hope we can get down there again soon. In the meantime I sent Evey a picture of Maynard to keep you company!
We're thinking of ya!- Cathleen
Kurt- I know your spirit and attitude will help you get thru this journey. I was a bone marrow donor for a leukemia patient back in 2000 who is healthy and loving life 8 years later and have seen first hand the miracles the Natl Marrow Organization can do, so if your family needs help coordinating a drive or recruiting donors, don't hestitate to let me know, I'd love to help. Keep positive! Debbie Wright
