Red Sox, Schmed Sox. Nice sweep Halos!

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I am feeling much better since my last posting. That was luckily a short lived period of hell which ended on Saturday. To be honest with you it makes me feel good that the chemo hit me harder this time. It makes me believe that the chemo hit the cancer that much harder which is what needs to happen. I'd be happy to take the pain on my end if it means the same amount of pain is getting inflicted on the cancer. Bright side right?

So again, not a whole lot of news to report on. Should know about the big brother match in a few days so look lout for that. Other than that, had a very good weekend. Angels swept the Sox, visited with lots of friends and family and got my appetite back. All in all a great few days.

Thanks for reading guys and have a great Monday.

By the way, still laughing about your message Estey. That is one for the ages my friend...

Hi Kurt

Well the old insomnia has its hold on me again tonight. I use to buy things on TV but I'm over that now. I usually watch a movie or read. Your blog is wonderful and you do such a good job with your writing and keeping us all posted.

I'm sorry that this last round of chemo really got to you but, I think your right just thing what its doing to those bad cells.

We're praying and holding good thoughts about Steve.

Take care, rest, keep eating and know that you have a lot of people out here thinking and praying for you daily.

Hello Kurt:
I am Michelle your 2nd cousin in South Africa. Your Mom has told us all over here about your illness and I would like you to know that we are all praying for you and for her and that you will get better very soon. We hope to meet you one of these days because if you are like her we know that we will love you as well. I have a 2 year old son Jordan and I have taught him to say your name and he keeps on saying it. Everytime he says it we say a prayer for you. Please come and vist us when you are better. I am not very good in English because Afrikaans is my mother tongue so plese forgive me for mistakes. We love your Mom absolutely and are very proud to have her in our family and wish that she lives with us one day. I didn't know that I had such a pretty and kind relation. You are very lucky to have her as your Mother. Well Kurt, I will keep up on this blog and end by saying that we wish you very well. With love from your cousin Michelle.
Totsiens vir nou.

Hi Kurt

here's a joke
What do you do when you have bacterias in your stoick and the doctor is nowhere to be found?
First you drink a cup of black coffe so they get left in the dark not knowing what's going on and then you drink a medeenica or some other rakija and wipe them all out.

Think of cemo as rakija-you suffer the conciquences(i don't know how U spell it) of getting drunk but the bad stuff will get out from your body(by trowing up-haha-let's hope not)

P.S. Edi,Linda and the kids wish you a soon recovery-Rob isn't here yet but I'm sure he wishes you all the same..
love with all the best wishes and a lot of greeting to Evey

A platypus walks into a bar, sits down and orders a round of drinks and appetizers for everyone. With a grand gesture, he tells the bartender, a duck, to bring him the bill for everything.

And so, he became a duck-billed platypus.

Hey Kurt-

That Angels win vs Beckett was pretty impressive. Hopefully those wins made your weekend a little more tolerable.

Take care

A pony walks into a bar and in a soft and raspy voice says to the bartender, Gimme a beer. The bartender says, Sure buddy, sounds like you got a cough. The pony replies, I'm a little hoarse.

Hey Kurt - Just a quick joke for you. Carole L.

The madam opened the brothel door and saw a rather dignified, well-dressed, good-looking man in his late forties or early fifties. "May I help you sir?" she asked.

'I want to see Valerie,' the man replied.

'Sir, Valerie is one of our most expensive ladies. Perhaps you would prefer someone else', said the madam.

'No, I must see Valerie,' he replied.

Just then, Valerie appeared and announced to the man she charged $5000 a visit.

Without hesitation, the man pulled out five thousand dollars and gave it to Valerie, and they went upstairs. After an hour, the man calmly left.

The next night, the man appeared again, once more demanding to see Valerie.

Valerie explained that no one had ever come back two nights in a row as she was too expensive but there were no discounts. The price was still $5000.

Again, the man pulled out the money, gave it to Valerie, and they went upstairs.

After an hour, he left.

The following night the man was there yet again.

Everyone was astounded that he had come for a third consecutive night, but he paid Valerie and they went upstairs.

After their session, Valerie said to the man, 'No one has ever been with me three nights in a row. Where are you from?'.

The man replied, 'Ontario'.

'Really', she said. 'I have family in Ontario.'

'I know.' the man said. 'Your sister died, and I am her attorney. She asked me to give you your $15,000 inheritance.'

What’s the difference between a dog and a fox?

About 5 beers.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
